Khudusela Pitje is the Founder and CEO of New GX Capital. He also sits on a number of boards linked to New GX group of companies. A finalist in EY entrepreneur awards in 2009 under “Emerging Category”, one of the founding partners at DFA, a strategic thinker involved in a number of successful start-up initiatives and strategic acquisitions at CIVH and New GX. In 2005 he was part of a team that brought AlanDick Group into the South African market as a provider of network optimisation and in building solutions provider within the telecommunication sector and also successfully negotiated acquisition by Coal of Africa Limited of a minority equity interest in an early stage mining project. Born into an entrepreneurial family and guided at an early age by his late father HM Pitje, he started his entrepreneurship with a makeshift hair salon in Grahamstown whilst in high school at age seventeen.
