As Country Head and CEO of BNP Paribas Group in South Africa, he directly oversees the Corporate & Institutional Banking business through a full banking branch in Johannesburg. He sits on the Board of BNP Paribas Personal Finance South Africa Ltd. (trading under the name of RCS) and is a member of their Audit & Risk Committee, Social & Ethics Committee and ALCO. He is the current Chairman of the International banking Association (IBA) of South Africa. He is also the Board Member of the Banking Association of South Africa, of the American Chamber of Commerce South Africa and Member of the Conseillers Du Commerce Extérieur De La France (CCEF). He has been with BNP Paribas Group since 2001. Prior to his current position, he was the Head of Corporate Coverage for Middle East & Africa (MEA). In this role, he directed a team of Coverage Bankers to manage client portfolio and generate revenues across various product classes like Global Markets, Corporate Finance – M&A, Structured Finance, Trade Finance and Cash Management.
