Orsola de Castro is an internationally recognized sustainable fashion opinion leader, mentor, curator and author of the book Loved Clothes Last, published in 2021. Associate Visiting Professor for the Faculty of Arts at the Middlesex University, until 2021 she was Visiting fellow and Practitioner in Residence at Central Saint Martins. A member of the Trieste International Talent Showcase (ITS) jury and advisory board since 2020 and the British Fashion Council’s New Gen jury since 2019. While in 2013 she co-founded Fashion Revolution, now the largest fashion activism movement in the world, in 2006 she launched Estethica, the acclaimed sustainable fashion showcase at the London Fashion Week. Her award-winning brand From Somewhere (1997 – 2014) has pioneered the field of upcycling by selling in some of the world’s best boutiques.
