Federico Marchetti is a member of several Boards including Highgrove Gardens, Editorial Gruppo GEDI, Giorgio Armani S.p.A as well as the Board of Trustees of the Prince’s Foundation. He is currently chairman of the Fashion Task Force of the Sustainable Markets Initiative sponsored by King Charles III. In 2000 he founded YOOX, the world’s first lifestyle e-commerce destination, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 2009, later becoming the global leader in online luxury fashion with the merger of YOOX and NET-A-PORTER (YNAP).

In 2017, he was appointed Knight of Labour by the President of the Italian Republic.
