Giovanni Giacobone è Managing Partner di Sportium, con la quale ha sviluppato importanti progetti, tra i quali il “Nuovo Stadio di Cagliari” per Cagliari Calcio, il “Nuovo Stadio di Milano” per AC Milan e FC Inter, il “Piano Operativo per lo Sviluppo Innovativo Strategico delle Infrastrutture Sportive” per Lega Pro. Inoltre, è anche Architetto, Ph.D. in Disegno Industriale, e professore a contratto di Disegno Industriale presso la Scuola del Design del Politecnico di Milano. Negli anni ha ricevuto importanti premi quali il RedDot 2020, il RedDot “Best of the best” 2016, l’IF Design Award 2016, il Lux Design Award 2016, l’ADI Design Index 2003, 2004, 2006, 2014, il Grandesign 2004, il Good Design 2008 e 2010.
