Diana Bianchedi è Chief Strategy Planning & Legacy Officer di Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026. Ha diretto sia la candidatura per le Olimpiadi di Roma 2024, che quella, vincente, delle Olimpiadi Milano Cortina 2026. Negli anni, presso il CONI, è stata presidente della Commissione benemerenze, presidente della Commissione Atleti e membro del Consiglio Nazionale e, prima ancora, membro esecutivo della Commissione Scientifica Antidoping, della Commissione di Vigilanza sul doping del Ministero della Salute, Giudice ultimo in materia di doping e membro della Commissione Antidoping del CONI. È entrata nell’esecutivo del CONI in qualità di vicepresidente nel 2001. Nella sua carriera Bianchedi si è anche occupata di riabilitazione sportiva, dirigendo il centro Isokinetic, polo di riabilitazione d’eccellenza riconosciuto dalla FIFA. È infatti vicepresidente della Commissione antidoping e tutela della salute della FIGC e ha fatto parte del panel di esperti UEFA in tema di doping. Ricopre inoltre l’incarico di professoressa universitaria nel Corso di laurea di Economia e Politiche dello sport, presso l’Università degli Studi Link Campus University. Durante la sua carriera agonistica ha vinto due ori Olimpici nel fioretto a squadre a Barcellona 1992 e a Sydney 2000, e cinque Mondiali (1991, 1995,1997,1998 e 2001). È stata anche vincitrice della Coppa del Mondo sia giovanile (1989) sia assoluta (1993).

Diana Bianchedi is Chief Strategy Planning & Legacy Officer of the Milan Cortina 2026 Foundation. She directed both the Rome 2024 Olympics bid and the successful Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics bid. Over the years, at CONI, she has been, President of the Merit Commission, President of the Athletes Commission and member of the National Council, and before that, an executive member of the Scientific Anti-Doping Commission, the Doping Supervisory Commission of the Ministry of Health, the ultimate Doping Judge and a member of the CONI Anti-Doping Commission. She joined the CONI executive as vice president in 2001. In her career Bianchedi has also been involved in sports rehabilitation, directing the Isokinetic center, a rehabilitation center of excellence recognized by FIFA. In fact, she is vice president of the FIGC Anti-Doping and Health Protection Commission and has served on the UEFA panel of experts on doping. She also holds the position of university professor in the Bachelor of Economics and Sports Policy, at Link Campus University. During her competitive career, she won two Olympic gold medals in team foil in Barcelona 1992 and Sydney 2000, and five World Championships (1991, 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001). She was also a World Cup winner in both youth (1989) and overall (1993).
