Dal 2009 Harel Gal svolge la sua attività presso l’Autorità governativa israeliana per l’Acqua e le acque reflue occupandosi di prevenzione dell’inquinamento e di trattamento delle acque, chiare e scure. È stato uno dei regolatori e policy maker per il tema delle acque reflue industriali nell’Authority. Dal 2019, è Direttore del Dipartimento per la Qualità dell’acqua. Sotto la responsabilità del Dipartimento da lui guidato, rientrano altresì il monitoraggio e il controllo delle fonti d’acqua e la bonifica delle acque inquinate. Harel Gal ha conseguito un Ph.D. presso l’Università Ebraica di Gerusalemme.

Since 2009 Harel Gal has been working in the Israel Government Water and Sewerage Authority on issues of water pollution prevention and water treatment, sewage and effluent. He was one of the regulators and policy makers of industrial wastewater in the Water Authority. As of 2019, he serves as the Director of the Water Quality Department of the Israel Water Authority. Among the issues under the responsibility of the department, in addition to the above, are monitoring and control of water sources and remediation of polluted water sources. Harel Gal holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
