Arakawa Takeshi è il Direttore Generale del progetto Sustainable Smart Town (SST), una riqualificazione di una ex fabbrica di Panasonic. Attualmente è responsabile dei progetti Fujisawa SST e Tsunasima SST presso Panasonic ed è anche Segretario Generale del Consiglio Fujisawa SST e Presidente di Fujisawa SST Management Co. Attraverso la pianificazione e la gestione della città, ha lavorato con i residenti, le aziende, le università e i governi locali per pianificare e sviluppare soluzioni cittadine basate sul vivere e risolvere i problemi sociali. Ha conseguito un Master in Ingegneria Elettrica presso la Graduate School of Engineering della Kansai University.

Arakawa Takeshi is the General Manager of the Sustainable Smart Town (SST) project, a redevelopment of a former Panasonic factory site. He is currently in charge of the Fujisawa SST and Tsunasima SST projects at Panasonic and also serves as the Secretary General of the Fujisawa SST Council and as President of Fujisawa SST Management Co. Through town planning and management, he has been working with residents, companies, universities, and local governments to plan and develop town solutions based on living and solving social issues. He holds a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kansai University.
