Country Managing Director - ABB Italy
Mario Corsi was appointed Country Managing Director of ABB Italy on January 1st, 2015.
In this role he is coordinating Balkans, Greece and Israel too.
He is also Vice President of the Mechatronics Group of Assolombarda, Member of the Board of Director of the Swiss Chamber in Italy, Member of the Board of Directors of ANIMP, Associazione Nazionale di Impiantistica Industriale; Member of the Board of Directors of CESI.
Mario first joined ABB in 1997, and he held various Senior Management positions, mainly in the Power Divisions at local and global level until 2006.
After having held the role of Managing Director in companies of JP Morgan’s Private Equity Fund, in 2010 he joined again ABB Group as Product Group Manager, Distribution Transformers, in the Power Products Division.
Previously, from 1980 to 1997 he covered managerial roles in Groups like Total, Assicurazioni Generali, Coopers&Lybrand Consultants.
Mario Corsi holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Trieste in Italy.
