Born in 1968, he’s European Director Legal & Corporate Affairs (Senior Counsel) at Whirlpool.
Largely experienced in International Legal & Corporate Affairs, with a particular focus on developing countries in Eastern Europe & Middle East, his current focus areas are: Corporate & General Compliance, Employment law/restructuring, Public Affairs and Institutional Relations.
He’s also Board Member of Whirlpool R&D, where he provides support on creation of strategic business partnership with public and private players (Universities, Research Centers, Trade Associations) and coordinates strategic projects in R&D, financed through National and EU public funds (i.e. Horizon 2020, National Technology Districts, Industria 2015, Contratti di Sviluppo territoriale etc).
He is member of the Board of Directors of the Food District Consortium endorsed by the Lombardia Regional Government.
He is speaker in seminars of Labour Law, Corporate Compliance and Privacy.
He obtained a Law degree in Rome in 1993 and a post- graduate executive education at Harvard Law School and at Bocconi School of Management (Milan). He started his career in 1996 as an independent lawyer admitted to the Rome Court, where he gained his experience in commercial and employment law.
Hired in 1997 by Bristol-Myers Squibb, a leading Pharmaceutical company in US, as part of the Legal Department based in Rome, in 2002 he joined Whirlpool EMEA, leading the US company for home appliances.
