Chair: Innovation and Commercialisation of Additive Manufacturing (AM) at the Centre for Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing (CRPM) at the central University of Technology, Free State (CUT). Prof. De Beer spent 10 years (industrial R&D) at the Atomic Energy Corporation, followed by 29 years in Higher Education (teaching, research and management). Prof. De Beer published widely on topics in product development, technology transfer, innovation, research development and commercialization, is a rated researcher (C) with the National Research Foundation, and a member of ASSAF.
