CDP, Snam and Terna, in collaboration with The European House – Ambrosetti, will realize States General of the Italian Energy Transition, an appointment dealing with topics of great interest for the energy sector and for Italy.

The Forum, first of its kind, will host key stakeholders of the energy sector coming from the world of institutions and business debating and discussing on most important challenges of the sectors, with the aim of reaping all the benefits of energy transition in Italy, in line with national and European strategic guidelines.

The program of the Forum, aimed at illustrating energy scenarios developed by Snam and Terna in order to converge planning concepts on infrastructural development of each sector, will deal with some of the most relevant topics for Italy, among which:

• current and future perspectives of energy transition;
• opportunities and impacts of energy transition on national electric and gas systems;
• the importance of resilience, security and flexibility for the planning and management of infrastructural systems;
• the contribution of network infrastructure for the growth, modernization and environmental and economic sustainability of the country;
• policy proposals and market measures to boost energy transition
