Mosa Tshabalala is Group Chief Executive Officer at Gauteng Growth Development Agency. In this capacity, she is a decisive and hands-on leader, committed to economic growth and development in the Gauteng City Region. Previously, she was CFO of the GGDA and was responsible for successfully stewarding a R1 billion budget. Before the GGDA, she joined training provider, ARC Skills Africa, where she was responsible for establishing the South African operating base for the United Arab Emirates. Whilst at ARC Skills Africa, she served as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors at the Automotive Industry Development Centre as well as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the GGDA Group. She has also served as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors at Listamaiso, the operating company of the Bus Rapid Transit System, “Rea Vaya”. In 2012, she was appointed as CFO of business and entrepreneur incubator, Awethu Project Business Incubator, based in Johannesburg. She began her career at the accounting organisation, Deloitte and was assigned to the premium clients of the Financial Services Audit Division, based in New York. Mosa Tshabalala is a qualified chartered accountant CA (SA). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg.
