Dato’ Soh Thian Lai is the President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers. He is also Vice President of the National Chamber of Commerce & Industry Malaysia, President of Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation, Group Executive Deputy Chairman of YKGI Holdings Berhad, Executive Chairman of Starshine Holdings and Deputy Chairman of Asteel Resources.
He has over 30 years of experience in the steel industry.
From 2014 to 2017 he has been Co-Chairman of Pemudah of Selangor and from 2012 to 2017 he has been Chairman of FMM Selangor Branch.
Dato’ Soh Thian Lai obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bath in 1994.
