Paola Guida is Deputy Director at Italian Trade Agency (ITA) since October 2019. She is also Senior Manager, Trade Promotion Marketing and Events for the Italian Trade Commission – ITA. She has over 25 years’ experience in international trade relations and over 10 years of demonstrated leadership in managing teams to include employees and external vendors across continents. As Commissioner for Trade in Hong Kong, from 2011 to 2016, she managed functions and events across the city with a budget of over 10 million euros during her tenure, in close contact with the international press, key trade and retail figures from the private sector. She has a proficient understanding of both European and Asian trade policies and regulations. During her career she also managed large-scale promotional campaigns across multiple jurisdictions comprising Italy, Beijing and Hong Kong.
