Maily Anna Maria Nguyen is Representative of Becamex IDC in Europe and Switzerland, a Vietnamese listed industrial development company. She currently is also Chairwoman of Italy-Vietnam Foundation, Delegate of Vietnamese Embassy for Emilia-Romagna and Umbria Region and Member of the Board of Chamber of Commerce Italy-Vietnam with headquarter in Milan. In 2023 she was honoured with the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica by the President of Italy. She is an expert in innovation and internazionalization of companies with 20 years of experience. In the last decade she gained significant experience in SMART CITY and SMART COMMUNITY. During her collaboration with Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, the projects created and implemented by her for the Promotion of business networks, Temporary Export Manager in Emilia-Romagna, and Vietnam a world of opportunity – Desk Vietnam have been recognized as best practices at Italian and European level, reaching the final selection of the prestigious European Enterprise Promotion Award.
