Fabrizio Botta is Chief Commercial Officer of Saipem since December 2021.

In 2007 he started his working career at Edison SpA as “Project Mechanical Engineer” in the Engineering Department. He joined Saipem’s family on April 2010, where he had held several positions including, in chronological order: Technical Manager, Proposal Director, Office of the CEO and the Chairman and Area Manager of Middle East, based in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Upon his return to Italy, from 2019 to 2021, he held the role of Director of Global Strategy Commercial and Tendering for the Onshore E&C Division.

Born in 1982, he holds a master’s degree cum laude in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Palermo. He then completed his studies with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at MIP Graduate school of business – Politecnico di Milano.
