Filippo Candrini is Managing Director of HappyFresh Indonesia, Southeast Asia’s leading online grocery company. Prior to joining HappyFresh as Director of Operations in September 2015 he served as Head of Operations at foodpanda in Vietnam, responsible for last-mile operations, vendors onboarding and customer experience. Filippo comes originally from Italy, with a diverse European educational and professional background. He relocated from Denmark to Thailand in 2013, when he decided to take part in a one-year MBA exchange program, as part of his Master degree. Working remotely for a Danish start-up during his first year in Southeast Asia gave hi m the opportunity to travel extensively and develop an understanding of the different challenges and opportunities in the region, which ultimately convinced him to set a next chapter in his life.
