Douglas Foo has been President of Singapore Manufacturing Federation since 2014. He is Chairman and Founder of Sakae Holdings Limited, a public-listed company, Singapore Nominated Representative in the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, Fellow at Eisenhower Fellowship, Council Member of the Singapore Business Federation and Vice President of the Singapore National Employers Federation. In 2019 he was appointed Singapore’s Non Resident Ambassador to Tanzania and since 2018 he is Nominated Member of Parliament of Singapore. In 2015, he won the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award.
