Senior Director ASEAN Economic Integration Division, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia. Joined the Administrative and Diplomatic Services and was posted to the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department in 1995. Posted to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 2004. Has served in the Bilateral Trade and Regional Relations Division, Trade Practices Division, Strategic Planning Division and Services Sector Development Division in MITI. Served at the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila and Malaysian High Commission in Singapore as Economic Counsellor from 2007 until 2009 and as Director at the Developing-Eight Organizations for Economic Cooperation Secretariat in Istanbul in 2016. Hold a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from University of Agriculture Malaysia and a Master of Arts in International Development from the International University of Japan.
