Director General for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO) of the European Commission. Prior to that, Mr. Manservisi was Head of Cabinet of High Representative/Vice-President Ms Federica Mogherini (2014-2016), Head of Commission Delegation to Turkey (2014), Director-General of Directorate-General Home Affairs (2010-2014), Director General of DG Development and Relations with Africa, Caribbean, Pacific States (2004-2010) and Head of Cabinet to President Romano Prodi (2001-2004). He joined the European Union in 1983, covering several important roles within EU institutions.
