Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Republic of Namibia. He was Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation from 2015 to 2018 and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2010 to 2015. He has been member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 2005. In the past he he was Assistant Whip SWAPO party; Deputy chairperson of Standing committee on Economies; Chairperson of Standing committee on Economies; Member of standing committee on Human Resources, Social and Community Development and Standing committee on foreign affairs, defence and security.
