Giovanni Tria

Italian Minister of Economy and Finance - 意大利经济金融部长

Giovanni Tria has been Minister of the Economy and Finance in the Cabinet of Giuseppe Conte since June 2018. He is Full Professor of Political Economy in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, and has more than 40 years of professional and academic experience as an expert on economic development, business cycles and growth, public investment assessment and project evaluation. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” since 2017. In the past, he was President of the Italian National School of Public Administration, Co-Director of the “Master in Development Economics and International Cooperation” (MESCI) and Director of the Centre for Economic and International Studies (CEIS) at the University “Tor Vergata”. He was also Member of the OECD Innovation Strategy Expert Advisory Group, Vice Chair of the OECD’s Committee for Information, Computer and Communication Policy (ICCP) and a Board Member of ILO (International Labour Organization).
